About
I'm Edmond, Group Head of Design at Logifuture.
I've been designing for 25 years, most of that in gaming and betting, but the problems are universal: figure out what needs building, get the right pieces aligned, and clear the way so the work gets done well.
I've built design systems that are still in daily use 7+ years later, and taken products from nothing to launch across mobile, web, and retail.
Some highlights:
- Led Simulate from 5k to 300k daily bets in 14 months. Peak of 320k in a single day.
- Built the NovaHub design system: 5,000+ components, 7+ years in active use.
- Built and run design teams across the UK, Malta, and Serbia.
Beyond Work
I draw, take photographs, and cook. Currently deep into building software with AI tools.
Q&A
What makes a good designer?
Understanding what you're trying to solve, and who the problem belongs to. You can make something beautiful quickly, but form has to follow function.
A good designer enjoys fixing problems. That's the actual work.
Where do you find inspiration?
Everywhere. Particularly in people, books, and film. The best ideas come from outside your own discipline.
What's in your toolkit?
Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects. I also use AI tools heavily to go from idea to prototype faster.
I don't have strong loyalty to any particular tool. Whatever helps you think and test faster is the right one.
How do you lead?
I want people to speak up when they see something that could help. No one knows everything, and a fresh perspective has shown me problems I didn't know existed more times than I can count.
My job is to set direction, get obstacles out of the way, and let people do good work.
